For the art aficionado there is, in Long Beach, The Museum of Latin American Art.
MOLAA is the only museum in the western United States that exclusively features contemporary Latin American art. Through its permanent collection, traveling exhibitions, and programs, MoLAA educates a diverse Southern California audience about contemporary Latin American art. The museum is located in the East Village Arts District of Long Beach.

VIP tickets – $150 on Friday and $175 per seat on Saturday and Sunday – include a three-course gourmet dinner, wine service and VIP hospitality. Reserved Box Seat tickets are $60 on Friday and $75 on Saturday and Sunday. General Admission/Lawn Seating is $45 in advance and $50 at the gate. Gates open at 5pm, with a show time of 7pm on Friday. Saturday and Sunday gates opens at 11:00am with a show time of 12pm.. Highlights will include a nightly fireworks show, food vendors and performances by some of the best and brightest in the Jazz, Smooth Jazz, and R&B genres.

It’s the annual Crawfish Festival at Rainbow Lagoon, downtown Long Beach!
For over 14 years the Crawfish Festival has become a tradition of thousands of festival goers annually.
Combining the best Cajun, Zydeco, and New Orleans sounds of music, and tons of fresh crawfish prepared Louisiana style and served by authentic Cajun chefs.
There’s a giant food court, children’s area with entertainment, dance floor, 2 stages, and beach bars to create the largest Crawfish Festival outside of Louisiana, right here in Southern California.
The festival opens at noon, but we’ll meetup at 1:00 to avoid the crowd at the opening gate.
